Dump a mixture of 2 ¼ cups raisins and currants into mixing bowl.
Add 1 cup of brown sugar
Brew 1 cup of very strong tea
Pour tea over the raisins and sugar. Stir well
Let the above stand all day or all night.
Preheat oven to 300°
Do not pour off any excess liquid
Add 2 cups of flour
1 tsp. baking powder
Beat up an egg and add it to the mixture
Mix well
Pour into well greased loaf pan.
Bake at 300° for 2 hours -- on middle shelf.
Do not eat until following day -- YUM-YUM!
