Mix together milk, a tbsp of sugar and yeast. Let it bloom for 10 minutes or until foamy.
In a bowl, mix together flour, sugar and salt. Add egg and melted butter. Then add, yeast mixture. Mix until incorporated. Transfer to a floured counter. Knead for 10 minutes or until smooth and elastic. Form into a ball. Place in an oiled bowl. Cover and let it rise until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
Punch out gas. Half the dough into equal portions. Form the first half of the dough into a loaf and the second half-divide into 3 equal portions and roll as shown in the video.
Place the formed/rolled dough in a greased loaf pan and lined with parchment paper. Cover to rise. Preheat oven at 180C/350F for 15 minutes.
Brush risen dough with egg wash. Baker for 18-20 minutes or until light golden.
