Line and dust pan with powdered sugar
Mix gelatin and ½ cup water and let sit for 10 minutes
Mix sugar with remaining 1 cup of water in a saucepan over medium heat
Stir and bring mixture to 240°F
Pour sugar mixture into stand mixer
Slowly add gelatin mixture and beat on low for 2 minutes
Beat on high for 6 minutes, adding salt and vanilla halfway through
Quickly pour into prepared pan and smooth out
Let sit for 3 hours
