Homemade Marshmallows
  1. Line and dust pan with powdered sugar

  2. Mix gelatin and ½ cup water and let sit for 10 minutes

  3. Mix sugar with remaining 1 cup of water in a saucepan over medium heat

  4. Stir and bring mixture to 240°F

  5. Pour sugar mixture into stand mixer

  6. Slowly add gelatin mixture and beat on low for 2 minutes

  7. Beat on high for 6 minutes, adding salt and vanilla halfway through

  8. Quickly pour into prepared pan and smooth out

  9. Let sit for 3 hours
