Chocolate Chip Blondies
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease a 9″ by 13″ baker and line the center with parchment paper.

  2. Make brown butter: Add butter to a sauce pan over medium heat. When the butter starts to boil, whisk to prevent from burning. Keep whisking until the mixture gets foamy, darkens, and separates. This will take 8 to 10 minutes. When finished, allow butter to cool slightly before using in recipe.

  3. In a large mixing bowl, add granulated, brown sugar, and brown butter. Stir to combine. You many stir by hand or mix with beaters. Don't overmix.

  4. Add egg (plus yolk if desired) and vanilla extract. Stir to combine.

  5. In a separate bowl, mix dry ingredients. Add to wet ingredients and stir to incorporate.

  6. Add chocolate chips and then spread in to baking pan.

  7. Bake for about 25 minutes. The blondies should be golden around the edges. Allow to cool for about 20 minutes prior to cutting.
