  1. In a bowl, combine all of the ground spices and stir well.

  2. Transfer to an airtight container, then label and date the container.

  3. Gather all the whole spices, and h a dry skillet over medium heat.

  4. Add the whole spices to the skillet and toast for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until aromatic.

  5. Remove from heat and let cool.

  6. Grind the spices into a fine powder using a pestle and mortar or an electric grinder.
