Preheat oven to 350°F
Heat up a dash of oil or butter in a pan and cook your breakfast sausage
When sausage is almost fully cooked, add salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder
After a few minutes, add in flour and stir until fully incorporated
Let flour cook for 3 to 5 minutes
Add milk roughly one cup at a time, stirring in between
Scrape the bottom of the pan for flavor
Let it come to a simmer and thicken for a few minutes, then turn off heat
Whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper together in a bowl
Cut up biscuits into fourths
Grease a 9 x 13 baking dish
Layer in order: frozen hashbrowns, biscuits, eggs, half of the cheese, sausage and gravy mixture, then remaining cheese
If making the night before, cover and refrigerate at this point
Bake at 350°F for 45-50 minutes
