Sausage And Gravy Breakfast Casserole
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F

  2. Heat up a dash of oil or butter in a pan and cook your breakfast sausage

  3. When sausage is almost fully cooked, add salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder

  4. After a few minutes, add in flour and stir until fully incorporated

  5. Let flour cook for 3 to 5 minutes

  6. Add milk roughly one cup at a time, stirring in between

  7. Scrape the bottom of the pan for flavor

  8. Let it come to a simmer and thicken for a few minutes, then turn off heat

  9. Whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper together in a bowl

  10. Cut up biscuits into fourths

  11. Grease a 9 x 13 baking dish

  12. Layer in order: frozen hashbrowns, biscuits, eggs, half of the cheese, sausage and gravy mixture, then remaining cheese

  13. If making the night before, cover and refrigerate at this point

  14. Bake at 350°F for 45-50 minutes
