Soft & Garlicky Breadsticks
  1. Activate the Yeast: In the bowl of a mixer or a large bowl, dissolve the yeast in the warm water.

  2. Mix the Dough: Add the sugar, oil, salt, and flour. Mix until a soft dough forms.

  3. Knead: Knead with a mixer for about 10 minutes, until smooth and elastic. (You can absolutely knead by hand — that’s how I made these the first time.)

  4. Shape the Breadsticks: Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface and cut into breadstick shapes.

  5. Butter & Season: Place on a greased baking sheet. Brush generously with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic bread seasoning.

  6. Bake: Bake at 350°F for about 22 minutes, until lightly golden, soft, and fluffy.
