Saffron And Yogurt Marinated Juicy Chicken
  1. Combine yogurt, saffron, turmeric, salt, pepper, and garlic in a bowl. (To bloom saffron, grind in a bowl, add 1 ice cube and let it melt.) Add lemon juice and mix well.

  2. Cube chicken breast into 1" pieces and add to marinade. Toss well to coat and refrigerate for 24 hours.

  3. In a medium pan over medium-high heat, add oil and butter and cook chicken for 2-3 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked through.

  4. Serve alongside additional Greek yogurt with optional herbs and top with sumac.
