French Toast Bake
  1. Spray 9 x 13 pan with cooking oil, preheat oven to 350°.

  2. Chop the bread into ½ to 1-inch cubes.

  3. In large bowl, add the eggs, milk, cream, sugar, ½ cup brown sugar, vanilla, 2 teaspoons cinnamon and nutmeg.

  4. Add bread cubes to the above mixture and toss well until all the liquid is absorbed.

  5. In a smaller bowl, add the flour, ½ cup brown sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and salt; mix.

  6. Cut in the butter with a fork or pulse in the food processor for 5-10 seconds or until the butter and brown sugar mixture is crumbly.

  7. Pour the bread/egg mixture into the pan.

  8. Cover evenly with brown sugar/butter topping.

  9. Bake at 350° for 45-50 minutes or until the top is crispy and the center is no longer wet.
