Alaska Pilot Bread
  1. Preheat oven to 325 F.

  2. Put the flour, baking powder, powdered sugar, and ½ tsp of salt in the food processor. Pulse to combine.

  3. Add cold butter a few small pats at a time, and pulse to combine.

  4. Add coconut oil. Pulse to combine.

  5. Slowly drizzle in the milk as you pulse the food processor. Your dough will form a ball. Let it run for 4 minutes.

  6. Roll out the dough to about ⅛ inch thick.

  7. Use a 3 inch round cookie cutter to cut them out. Dock the pilot bread all over with a fork.

  8. Bake your crackers for 25 minutes, then turn off the stove and crack the oven door. Let them stay in the oven until cool.

  9. Store in a tightly sealed jar.
