Oven-baked Ribs
  1. Preheat oven to 300° and line a baking sheet with foil. If your ribs have a thin membrane over the bones on the backside, remove by carefully sliding a knife under membrane, then peel away.

  2. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, garlic powder, salt, pepper, mustard, paprika, and cayenne. Rub mixture all over ribs and place on prepared sheet.

  3. Cover sheet with foil and bake ribs until very tender, about 2 hours.

  4. In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, bring ketchup, brown sugar, water, vinegar, molasses, Worcestershire, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, mustard powder, and paprika to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer, stirring occasionally, until thickened, about 1 hour.

  5. Turn on broiler. Remove foil from ribs and brush both sides with BBQ sauce.

  6. Broil ribs until sauce just starts to caramelize, 2 to 4 minutes.
