Add 2 pints of cherry tomatoes to a casserole dish along with about 2 tablespoons of oil from the marinated mozzarella balls (including all the garlic and herbs at the bottom)
Season with salt and pepper, cover and roast at 350°F for about 15 minutes or until tomatoes are soft enough to burst with the back of a spoon or potato masher
Add a handful of torn fresh basil and 2 small packages of refrigerated gnocchi; toss to coat
Top with 2 to 3 chopped smoked Italian chicken sausage links and return to oven for another 12 to 15 minutes uncovered
Top with reserved marinated mozzarella torn into pieces and bake for another 5-7 minutes, until melted and bubbly
Dab any sausage grease off the top with a paper towel if desired and top with more fresh basil
Let sit for 5 minutes before serving
