Set oven to broil setting and cover a cookie sheet with tin foil.
Decorate the plastic cups with designs using sharpies.
Place cups face down on the cookie sheet and put them in the oven. Watch them melt for about 30 seconds.
Press a metal or porcelain bowl on top of the melted cups to flatten them.
Let the cups cool for a couple of minutes.
Add extra embellishments if desired, such as names or pictures.
Use a hole punch to make a hole at the top and add ribbon, string, or yarn for hanging.
