  1. In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and instant yeast. Allow it to sit for 5 minutes until frothy.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Make a well in the center, pour in the yeast mixture, and add olive oil. Knead the dough until smooth and elastic. Cover and let it rise for 1-2 hours.

  3. Meanwhile, prepare the garlic spread. In a small bowl, mix softened vegan butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Set aside.

  4. Once the dough has risen, divide it into equal portions. Roll each portion into a ball and then flatten into a round disc, creating the flatbreads.

  5. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Place each flatbread on the hot surface and cook until golden brown on both sides, approximately 2-3 minutes per side.

  6. As the flatbreads cook, generously spread the prepared garlic mixture on one side, allowing the warmth to enhance the aromatic essence.

  7. Once the flatbreads are cooked to perfection, serve them warm. Optionally, sprinkle additional chopped parsley for a fresh burst of color and flavor.
