Mama Ragland Yeast Rolls
  1. Mix yeast, sugar, warm milk and warm water together. Let rest about 10 minutes until foamy.

  2. Cream together softened butter, sugar, eggs and salt. Add yeast mixture and mix. Gradually add 4 cups of flour. Knead dough

  3. Knead into a round shape. Add to a greased bowl. Let rise 1-1.5 hours until doubled in size.

  4. Preheat oven 350F. Flour the board and place dough. Flatten out the dough, remove air pockets, and form rectangle shape. Use dough cutter to make 24 pieces

  5. Take each rectangle and flatten. Add melted butter with a brush. Fold rectangle up on each side (like a letter) and place seam side down.

  6. Bake @ 350F for 25 minutes until golden brown. Brush melted butter on hot bread.
