Whisk together all marinade ingredients.
Pour marinade over chicken in a bowl or bag.
Marinate at least 30 minutes, preferably overnight.
Grill, bake, or pan-sear chicken until fully cooked.
Simmer reserved marinade to make glaze.
Brush glaze over chicken and cook 2–3 minutes more.
Serve hot over rice, in tacos, or bowls.
