Creamy Salsa Verde With Broccoli Stalks
  1. Remove the florets from the stalks and save them for something else. Lightly peel the stalks and dice them up.

  2. Fry your tomatillos, serranos, and stalks in 1 tbsp oil for a few minutes over medium heat. Add your onions and garlic. Continue to cook everything until veggies have a nice sear.

  3. Add 1 cup of water, cover, reduce heat to medium low, and cook for about 10 minutes.

  4. Add everything but the tomatillos to your blender with a little bit of the water and 1 tsp salt. Blend until almost smooth.

  5. Add in your tomatillos, cilantro, and continue to blend. Slowly drizzle in 1 tbsp oil. Now blend until smooth.
