Day 3: Add 1 tablespoon ginger and 1 tablespoon sugar or honey
Day 4: Add 1 cup water, 1 tablespoon ginger, and 1 tablespoon sugar or honey
Continue this pattern until the mixture becomes bubbly
To maintain: Feed every 2-3 days at room temperature, or store in refrigerator with tight lid and feed once every 10 days
Always keep 1 tablespoon of the bubbly liquid and feed with 1 tablespoon sugar, 1 tablespoon ginger, and 1 cup water
The living yeast in the ginger will feed off the sugar provided
