Preheat oven to 425ºF (220ºC).
Prepare 2 sheets of heavy-duty aluminum foil.
Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper, place on foil.
Add trimmed asparagus to the foil.
Top salmon with garlic, broth, lemon juice, and hot sauce.
Place butter on top of salmon and asparagus.
Wrap foil around salmon to create packets.
Bake for 9-12 minutes until salmon is cooked through.
Unwrap packets, drizzle with lemon juice, and garnish with parsley or cilantro.
