Vanilla Rice Baked Custard
  1. Preheat oven to 340°F.

  2. Add cooked rice and milk to a blender. Pulse a few times—you want some texture left.

  3. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, honey, vanilla, and salt.

  4. Stir the rice mixture into the egg mixture until combined.

  5. Pour into a greased baking dish or 6 ramekins.

  6. Place baking dish inside a larger pan and fill halfway with hot water (water bath).

  7. Bake for 35–40 minutes, until the center is just set with a slight jiggle.

  8. Cool for 15–20 minutes before serving.
