  1. BEAT EGGS LIGHTLY. STIR IN SUGAR, SYRUP, BUTTER, FLOUR, VANILLA AND SALT. ADD CURRANTS (RAISINS). POUR INTO UNBAKED PIE SHELL.

  2. BAKE IN 400F. OVEN FOR 5 MINUTES. REDUCE HEAT TO 350F. & CONTINUE BAKING FOR ABOUT 35 MINUTES OR UNTIL CENTRE IS JUST FIRM TO TOUCH.

  3. COOL COMPLETELY BEFORE CUTTING.
