Cabbage Roll Soup
  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef or pork and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.

  2. Add onion and garlic to the pot. Cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until softened.

  3. Stir in chopped cabbage, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.

  4. Add the uncooked rice to the pot. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 25-30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the rice is tender.

  5. Ladle soup into bowls and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm.
