Blend the soaked chana dal with water into a smooth paste.
In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients and mix gently.
The batter will look flowy at first, but it will thicken quickly and form a dough-like texture.
Wet or oil your hands to prevent sticking, then shape the dough into a loaf.
Place it on a parchment-lined tray or in a loaf tin — both methods work well.
Make a few slits on top of the loaf as shown in the video.
Sprinkle everything bagel seasoning or any seasoning of your choice.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 40–45 minutes.
Once baked, remove from the oven and cover with a clean cloth for 15 minutes. This helps the bread stay soft and retain moisture.
Slice thick or thin and enjoy warm!
