In a skillet, brown ½ pound ground beef, pork, or turkey (or a mix). Drain excess fat.
Stir in contents of jar and 2 ½ cups water (or broth).
Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover, and simmer 18–20 minutes, until rice is tender.
Fluff with a fork and serve hot.
Serves 4 as a main dish or 6 as a side.
