Double-decker Tacos
  1. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.

  2. Stir in the chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1 minute more, stirring constantly.

  3. Warm the corn tortillas and flour tortillas according to package directions.

  4. To assemble the tacos, place a corn tortilla on a flat surface. Top with a flour tortilla.

  5. Spoon about ¼ cup of the beef mixture onto the center of the flour tortilla.

  6. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese and Monterey Jack cheese.

  7. Fold the taco in half, pressing gently to seal the edges.

  8. Place the folded taco seam-side down in the skillet over medium heat. Cook for 1-2 minutes per side, until golden brown and the cheese is melted.

  9. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and beef mixture.

  10. Serve immediately with your favorite toppings.
