Scald milk & cool slightly.
Dissolve yeast & 1 Tablespoon (or tsp?) sugar in lukewarm water
Add sugar, egg yolks, melted butter, salt, & yeast Mixture. Blend well.
Add remaining ingredients (yolks, zest, mace, & flour) & mix.
Cover & let dough rise for 1.5 hours or until very light.
Shape into small balls about the size of a walnut a place on a lightly greased pan.
Brush w/melted butter & let rise 30 mins.
Make indentations & put favorite filling.
Let rise another 10 Mins.
Bake for 10-15 mins @ 400-425°
Dust w/ powdered sugar when cooled
