Cherry Pie Bars
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. In a large bowl, cream butter, sugar and salt until light and fluffy.

  3. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

  4. Beat in extracts.

  5. Gradually add flour.

  6. Spread 3 cups dough into a greased 15x10x1-inch baking pan.

  7. Spread with pie filling.

  8. Drop remaining dough by teaspoonfuls over filling.

  9. Bake 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.

  10. Cool completely in pan on a wire rack.

  11. In a small bowl, mix confectioner’s sugar, extracts and enough milk to reach desired consistency; drizzle over top.
