Place in a saucepan, cover with water, and bring to a boil. Cook gently for 15 minutes. Cool in cold water, peel, and chop.
Put in a large bowl.
Drain and break into small pieces. Mix with chopped eggs and cheese.
Stir in until well combined.
Split and place bottom halves in a shallow pan.
Spread tuna mixture evenly over bun bottoms.
Broil for about 10 minutes, until heated through and lightly browned.
Lightly toast the inside of the top buns (about 30 seconds), then place on top and serve.
