Steak Fried Rice with Savory Garlic Ginger Sauce
  1. In a small bowl or jar, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, hoisin, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, chili sauce, water, and cornstarch.

  2. Set aside. This is your flavor bomb for the fried rice!

  3. Prep the Steak: Season lightly with salt and pepper. Heat 1 Tbsp oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Sear steak for 2-3 minutes until cooked to your liking. Remove and set aside.

  4. Scramble the Eggs: In the same pan, add eggs and scramble until just set. Remove and set aside with the steak.

  5. Cook the Veggies: Add 1 Tbsp oil, onions, and frozen vegetables. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes letting it crisp slightly.

  6. Add the Rice: Stir in cooled rice, breaking up clumps. Cook for 3-4 minutes, letting it crisp slightly.

  7. Sauce It Up: Pour in the garlic ginger sauce and stir until the rice is evenly coated and the sauce thickens.

  8. Bring It All Together: Return steak and eggs to the pan. Toss well. Sprinkle with green onions. Serve hot!
