Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment
Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl
Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg and ricotta, mixing until smooth. Stir in orange zest and juice
Gradually add dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in cranberries
Drop spoonfuls onto prepared sheets, spacing apart
Bake 12–15 minutes until edges are golden. Cool on wire racks and dust with powdered sugar if desired
