Layer rice into the bottom of the pint jar.
Combine spices and dried vegetables in a small bowl; pour over the rice.
Seal with a tight-fitting lid. Store in a cool, dry place for up to 6 months.
Cooking Instructions (Attach to Jar Tag)
In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons butter or oil.
Add entire jar contents and stir to toast the rice for 1–2 minutes.
Stir in 3 cups water (or a mix of water + ½ cup tomato sauce for extra flavor).
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer 20 minutes until rice is tender and liquid absorbed.
Fluff with a fork and serve.
