  1. Preheat oven to 220C/200C fan forced.

  2. Place potatoes on a baking tray and bake for 30-40 minutes or until tender. Leave to cool before coarsely grating.

  3. Combine potato, onion, garlic, 3 tsp stock powder, half the sour cream and half the cheese in a lightly greased 10 cup capacity rectangular baking dish Level top.

  4. Dollop over remaining sour cream and smooth over potato mixture, scatter over remaining cheese and remaining stock powder.

  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden and bubbling. Serve.
