Crispy Pan Seared Salmon
  1. Let the salmon come to room temp.

  2. Pat the salmon dry, especially the skin then score the salmon skin.

  3. Season both sides with salt, pepper & paprika. Rubbing into the slits!

  4. Heat skillet over med heat. Then add the oil (after the pan is hot).

  5. Add salmon, skin side down, press down with a spatula. Cook for 2 mins, flip & cook for another 2 mins.

  6. Flip again, reduce the heat to low & add butter, garlic & thyme. Baste for 4 mins.

  7. Zest with lemon zest, juice & parsley.
