Shredded Chicken In Oyster Sauce
  1. In a large bowl, marinate chicken with oyster sauce, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, and let it rest for 30 minutes.

  2. In a large bowl, mix together the cornflour, oyster sauce, garlic and ginger, soy sauce, sugar, and salt, pepper, and stock. Mix and set aside.

  3. In a large skillet, heat the remaining 1 tbsp of sesame oil. Add chicken pieces to it and cook until the chicken is cooked through and it starts to slowly brown. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.

  4. Add onion to the same skillet and fry, adding additional oil if needed. Once the onion is translucent, add carrot and let it cook for a while, then add the peppers, mushrooms, and the oyster mix sauce. Stir and cook for a couple of minutes until the sauce begins to thicken.

  5. Add the chicken to the skillet and toss everything together.

  6. Serve over plain rice and garnish with sesame seed.
