Remove the tofu from its package, drain the liquid, and break it into bite-sized chunks with your hands. Place the pieces in a large mixing bowl—no need to press or dry!
Mix the cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and chili powder in a small bowl. Sprinkle the mixture over the tofu and toss gently until evenly coated.
Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the tofu in a single layer and fry for 10–12 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden and crispy. Add more oil if needed.
Once the tofu is golden brown with a crisp crust, serve it with peanut noodles, your favorite sauce, or enjoy it as a snack.
