Crock Pot Teriyaki Chicken
  1. Prepare the Crock Pot: Lightly spray the inside of the crock pot with oil or nonstick cooking spray to prevent sticking.

  2. Coat the Chicken: Place the cubed chicken in a bowl (or a Ziplock bag). Add the cornstarch and toss until the chicken is evenly coated. Transfer the coated chicken to the crock pot.

  3. Make the Sauce: In a separate bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, chicken broth, rice vinegar, honey, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and ground ginger until well combined.

  4. Combine Ingredients: Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken in the crock pot.

  5. Cook: Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours, until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.

  6. Add Broccoli: Stir the chicken and sauce to combine. Add the frozen broccoli to the crock pot, cover, and continue cooking for an additional 30 minutes, or until the broccoli is heated through and tender. If using fresh broccoli, add it 1 hour before the end of the cook time.

  7. Serve: Serve the teriyaki chicken over steamed rice. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions, if desired.

  8. Enjoy your flavorful, easy Crock Pot Teriyaki Chicken!
