Brush a large mixing bowl and a large pot with neutral oil.
Line a 9-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving extra overhang on each side.
Brown butter in a large oiled pot over medium heat until it turns light brown.
Add 4 cups of mini marshmallows, vanilla extract, miso, and oolong tea to the melted butter.
Stir continuously until marshmallows melt and form a smooth consistency.
Pour the melted marshmallow mixture into the bowl of Rice Krispies cereal, add remaining marshmallows and almonds.
Mix everything together and scoop the mixture into the prepared pan.
Press the mixture evenly into the pan, top with flaky salt, and let cool.
Once cooled, use the parchment paper to lift the treats out of the pan and cut into squares.
