Soak red lentils in boiling water for 15–20 minutes, then drain and rinse.
Add soaked lentils to a food processor with onion, garlic, cumin powder, smoked paprika, mixed herbs, miso paste, apple cider vinegar, grated carrots, and salt.
Blend until the mixture comes together.
Form the mixture into patties.
Bake at 180°C for 20–30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Serve in a lettuce bun with iceberg lettuce, tomato, pickles, oil-free hummus, and ketchup.
