Drain and rinse the garbanzo well. If you have a few extra minutes, simply remove the skins from the chickpeas as well (not totally necessary but makes the hummus even creamier).
Transfer the chickpeas and remaining ingredients to a food processor, along with the ice cubes.
Process until completely smooth, about 3-4 minutes total. You will need to scrape down the sides of the food processor and process again.
Remove cover, taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
Eat and enjoy! Store leftovers in a covered container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
