In a stand mixer, cream salted sweet cream butter and brown sugar together on medium speed for one minute.
Add in cream cheese and mix until combined. Scrape down side and mix so everything is incorporated.
Add in egg and vanilla. Mix and scrape down sides when needed.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, corn starch and baking powder.
Add dry to wet ingredients and cover with a towel and mix.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Turn dough out on a piece of plastic wrap, form into disc, wrap dough up and place in refrigerator for 15 minutes.
Roll dough out on floured surface to ¼-⅜ inch.
Place cookies on an aluminum grade baking sheet and bake on middle rack for 9-12 minutes.
The center will puff up and look matte when done.
Allow to cool completely and enjoy.
