Lay the tofu slices flat on paper towels and pat dry. Sprinkle salt on top and set aside for 10 minutes to remove excess moisture.
In a large pan on medium heat, combine the garlic, green onions, soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, gochujang, rice vinegar, sesame seeds and water.
Heat neutral oil in the pan, then fry the tofu on both sides until golden brown.
Add the sauce to the pan and cook until the sauce is reduced.
Garnish with green onions and serve.
