Pastry flour enough to make a soft dough to roll out and cut. (I chilled dough slightly).
Do not work any more than you have to.
Cut out in the shape of an oak leaf. Brush with sweet milk before going into oven.
May be plain or sprinkled lightly with granulated sugar.
Bake at 375°.
Children like them frosted.
Melt chocolate and confectioners' sugar with warm water. Same dough only cut round and frosted on the flat side when baked.
