Add one pound of bacon and two pounds of smoked sausage to a pot and cook until brown.
Remove the cooked bacon and sausage and set aside.
Add butter to the pot and add 1.5 onions and two spoons of minced garlic.
Add 0.5 cup of all-purpose flour.
Add 10 cubed potatoes.
Add 48 ounces of chicken broth and 1 cup of heavy whipping cream.
Add 3 cups of whole milk, garlic powder, onion powder, Cajun seasoning, black pepper, dried parsley and salt.
Cover the pot and cook until the potatoes are fork tender.
Mash three or four potatoes.
Let it cook for thirty more minutes.
Add the cooked bacon and sausage.
Add 0.5 cup of green onion.
Serve with shredded cheese.
