Sauce:

  1. Cut the dates in half and remove the seeds.

  2. Place a bowl in the middle of the steamer to collect the sauce as the chicken steams.

  3. Steam the chicken, ginger, and goji berries.

  4. In a pan, cook the ginger and scallions/spring onions in oil.

  5. Add soy sauce, sesame oil, and salt to taste.

  6. Serve the steamed chicken with the ginger scallion sauce.
