Medieval Gingerbread - use up old bread!
  1. Take honey & warm it by the fire

  2. Take bread & pull it apart, grate it into crumbs

  3. Mix it with the hot honey and slowly stir in the spices

  4. Press the mixture into a tin, cover and leave overnight, or a couple of days, but not too cold. It should be quite sturdy.

  5. Cut into pieces when cold and serve decorated with whole cloves

  6. Enjoy! 😋
