Ingredients
Wash, peel and cube and put in pan of water with dash of salt and let boil until tender, about 15 minutes.
Drain, then add ½ to 1 cup of white sugar and evaporated milk to get the consistency you want
add two tablespoons of butter and a ½ tsp cinnamon and nutmeg, whip until smooth. Add walnuts if using.
Put in a casserole dish. cover with miniature marshmallows and turn oven on broil and watch carefully as these will burn really quickly. If you're making a head of time, wait to put the marshmallows on, bake the casserole until heated thro8gh, then add the marshmallows and broil.
