Heat one cup of water and one cup of sugar until sugar is dissolved. Turn heat off.
Pour a bag of cranberries in the pot of warm simple syrup. Let them soak for 30 minutes.
Transfer cranberries to wax paper in a single layer. Keep your fingers off of them or sugar will transfer to your hands.
Let them dry for at least one hour so sugar will sparkle instead of dissolve.
Top cranberries with plenty of cane sugar and shake them up to get them coated.
Skewer them for the perfect garnish and keep any extras in a little bowl at the bar.
