Preheat your oven to 180ºC.
Place a small ovenproof dish onto your scales then weigh in all the ingredients apart from the bread.
Mix together until you have a smooth custard.
Chop your bread into small 2cm squares then add them to your custard mixture.
Squish and mix everything together so the bread is fully covered in the custard and absorbs most of it.
If you have any demerara sugar then sprinkle a little over the top and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and slightly firm to the touch.
Serve with cream, ice cream or custard.
