Early Bird Dutch Baby
  1. Preheat your oven to 425° F. Place the 13.25 inch cast iron skillet in the oven to heat up, too.

  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk eggs, milk, flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth.

  3. Carefully remove the hot skillet from the oven and add the butter, swirling it around to coat the bottom and sidewalls evenly.

  4. Quickly pour the batter into the hot skillet over the melted butter. Place the skillet back into the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the Dutch Baby is puffed and golden brown.

  5. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, and chopped green onions. Set back in the oven until the cheese melts, about 1-2 minutes.

  6. While the Dutch Baby is baking, fry 3 eggs in a separate skillet to your liking.

  7. Once the Dutch Baby is done, remove from the oven, top with fried eggs and sprinkle with additional green onion. Serve immediately.
