  4. Add butter and cinnamon: Place butter slices evenly over dry cake mix, making sure most of cake mix is covered. Sprinkle with cinnamon.

  5. Bake cake: Bake in preheated oven until golden brown and bubbly, about 35-40 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool 10 minutes. Serve warm.
